UFC women's featherweight champion Cris Justino successfully held her first defense of the title in a fight against Holly Holm, which took place at the UFC 219 tournament in Las Vegas, USA.

The first half of the fight was pretty good. Justino inflicted damage to her opponent with heavy hits, while Holm's attacks were more accurate. In addition, Holly had an advantage in the stance, but failed to extract any dividends from this.

In final rounds Holm had serious problems because of the hematoma formed over the left eye, which her opponent successfully used. Nevertheless, Holly did not intend to surrender and raised the tempo in the last round of the battle, but this was not enough to win.

The unanimous decision of the judges by Cris Justino (49-46, 48-47, 48-47).
