Results and photos of the undercard bouts in Brovary

Last Saturday Brovary, Ukraine, became a place for a boxing show from K2 Promotions Ukraine. This evening Olympic silver medalist Denis Berinchyk (8-0, 5 KOs), won his first professional title WBO Oriental lightweight belt knocking out Filipin Allan Vallespin (11-2-8, KO) in the sixth round.

In the second main event of the evening WBO European featherweight champion Oleg Malinovsky (22-0, 6 KOs) defended the title in a fight with David Berna (13-2, 12 KOs). Malinovsky stopped the Hungarian at the end of the first round.

In the undercard former world title challenger Maxim Bursak (34-5-1, 15 KOs) beat Soso Abuladze (13-8-1, 9 KOs) via unanimous decision in 8 rounds.

Welterweight from Cherkassy, Ukraine, Mishiko Beselia (17-0, 12 KOs) knocked out Denis Chechet (9-5-1, 8 KOs) from Kharkov in the third round.

Aram Faniyan (12-0, 1 KOs) beat the Italian Giuseppe Carafa (9-1-1, 1 KOs) via unanimous decision.

Junior world WBO champion Karen Chukhadzhyan (11-1, 5 KOs) defeated experienced South African Ali Funeka (39-8-3, 31 KOs) by unanimous decision.

Stanislav Skorokhod (17-1, 14 KOs) knocked out Nodar Robakidze (22-26-5, 9 KOs) in the third round.

Issa Akberbaev (20-0, 15 KOs) from Kazakhstan via TKO in the fourth round defeated the Bosnian Mirnas Denadic (10-6, 4 KOs), retaining his WBA Asian belt.

Nikolay Veselov (5-0, 2 KOs) from Belarus in the sixth round stopped Zoltan Sera (30-14-1, 20 KOs) from Hungary.

Stanislav Kutin (3-0, 2 KOs) beat the Georgian Ramazi Gogichashvili (30-23-2, 17 KOs) by unanimous decision.

At this boxing evening the Minister of Youth and Sports Igor Zhdanov handed a high award from the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko - the Order of Merit of the second degree - to the President of the Professional Boxing League of Ukraine Mikhail Zavyalov.
