Former heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin will pass the doping tests after a fight with Romanian boxer Christian Hammer. Since December 5th Povetkin can take part in official fights due to the expiration of disqualification for violation of anti-doping rules. In December last year before the fight against Bermein Stivern the doping test of the Russian showed traces of forbidden ostarin.

"I did not give [the doping tests] before the fight, I'll do it after the fight," Povetkin said.

Promotion company "World of Boxing” explained that this procedure is established by sanction organizations that authorize the fight.
