Russian MMA fighter Alexander Shlemenko suggested to the leaders of Bellator to hold a five-round rematch with the representative of the Netherlands Gegard Musashi, to whom the Russian lost via decision in the tournament in the US. Shlemenko wrote about this on his page in Instagram.

"The fight between me and Musashi at Bellator 185 caused a huge wave of controversy and various insults on the Internet in order to find out who was stronger. So I propose to stop these disputes and decide everything in a five-round rematch as soon as possible. I appeal to the leaders of Bellator to arrange this fight again," wrote Shlemenko.

MMA fights last three rounds basically. Champions fights, as a rule, have five rounds. Earlier, the head of Bellator Scott Coker said that he was not yet considering the possibility of a rematch between Shlemenko and Musashi.

On Saturday night, Shlemenko lost to Musashi at the Bellator 185 tournament, which was held in the American city of Ankasville, Connecticut, via unanimous decision. All three judges preferred the Dutchman with a score of 29:28 in three round battle. Musashi suffered a serious eye injury in the first round after Shlemenko punch and after the fight was hospitalized. Shlemenko also says that he does not agree with the judges decision and believes that judges have stolen victory from him.
