Margules: Gassiev and Dorticos two best cruiserweights in the world

Leon Margules promoter of IBF world champion Murat Gassiev and WBA belt holder Yunier Dorticos think that there’s no favorite in their fight. Margules consider Gassiev and Dorticos as the two best representatives in the cruiserweights of the world.

Gassiev in the quarterfinal fight of the World Boxing Super Series last Saturday in Newark, USA, knocked out in the third round former WBC and IBF champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk. Gassiev defended his IBF title and went to the semifinals of the tournament. In a duel for the final Gassiev will meet with Yunier Dortikos who previously knocked out Dmitry Kudryashov.

"There are two strong boxers, the young Murat, who becomes a superstar with an excellent punch to the body. Wlodarczyk now has to make decisions about his future, but he was fine after the fight," Margules said. The battle between Gassiev and Dortikos does not have a favorite, they are two best cruiserweights in the world, their fight will take place in January, and negotiations are going on now about the place of the match."
