Usyk vs Briedis fight may happen on January 20

The semifinal of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS) between WBC cruiserweight champion Mairis Briedis (23-0, 18 KOs) and WBO champion Alexander Usyk (13-0, 11 KOs) may take place on January 20. According to the schedule of the tournament, Berlin is planned to host this fight, but the organizers of the WBSS were impressed by the atmosphere in Riga, where the Briedis vs Mike Perez fight was held, and they are ready to hold a fight of this level in the capital of Latvia.
