A. Emelianenko says he is ready to train with his brother Fedor

Russian mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Emelianenko wants to train with his brother Fedor Emelianenko, learn from his experience and help him in the preparation for his fights. On Wednesday Alexander defeated via knockout Brazilian Geronimo “Mondragon” dos Santos at the 33rd second of the fight.

This duel was the first for the Russian after the resumption of his career. Fedor Yemelyanenko on Wednesday announced the opening of a martial arts school of his name, where he plans to conduct basic training for his fights.

"Of course, I'm interested in [training with Fedor], helping him, working with him. He is a good, experienced fighter with a lot of motivation. In terms of fighting he has a head that the House of Soviets," the athlete said.

Emelianenko added that he was following his brother's advices. "Of course, I follow his career, after all, he’s my brother, my blood. Of course, I was upset [when Fedor lost to Matt Mitrione.] I think not only I was worried, but all of Russia was worried about him," the fighter said.
