Kovalev confirms the change of coach

Former world boxing champion Sergey Kovalev stopped his work with his longtime coach John David Jackson.

«For all the time that I worked with Jackson, he did not give me anything,» said the 34-year-old Russian, «I did not feel that he was helping me in the ring, he’s a good guy, but as a specialist he does not suit me.»

Lately Jackson said that he plans to work with the athlete no longer. His nearest fight Kovalev will hold on November 25 in the United States against the Ukrainian Vyacheslav Shabransky.
