Egis Klimas breaks down Usyk vs Huck

Egis Klimas manager of Alexander Usyk commented on the performance of his fighter in the battle against Marco Huck September 9 in Berlin.

-How do you rate Sasha's fight?

This is one of the best fights we've seen in the cruiserweights lately. I really liked it. Usyk performed very well and courageously.

-The fight from the first rounds went at fast speeds...

Why not? If we now take Alexander and Marco and put them on the treadmill, Alexander will run him over, if we send them in the pool, he will also win. So why he should fight slow in the ring if he can outbox him, including the high speed from the very beginning.

-Alexander said that he would like to fight Mairis Briedis. What do you think?

I think it would be a great fight. Briedis is a good boxer and with Alexander they would show good boxing.

-How do you appreciate Usyk’s training for this fight, after all, he went to Europe, and before that two fights took place in the US?

Alexander approached this fight very well. We all saw it. He was not tired, he did not start to slow, he performed very well. I think that his preparations went very well, unfortunately I could not participate in it. As far as I could see, I think that the training was held at a very high level.
