The General manager of K2 Promotions Ukraine Alexander Krassyuk talked about one of the company’s fighters the WBO world champion Alexander Usyk (12-0, 10 KOs) and his training with the Canadian specialist Russ Anber. Usyk was preparing under Anber’s guidance for the fights against Tabiso Mchunu and Mike Hunter. Both fights took place in the United States.

"Working with Russ Anber? We had to experiment. Alexander tried to work with Russ, but there is not much difference between Russ and his former coach James Ali Bashir, because one of Canada, the other one from the US. Their approach is the same, and Alexander is not used to the pro-American approach. He was used more to the approach that was in the national Ukrainian team, when the coach is a father, and a mother, and a commander, and brother”, Alexander Krassyuk said.

“So we worked with Russ, and so be it. He will be in our team for the fight against Huck, he will be a katmen," Krassyuk added.
