Volkov stopped Struve in the 3rd round

In the main event of the UFC Fight Night 115 tournament in Rotterdam Russian heavyweight Alexander Volkov scored a TKO victory in the third round over the Dutchman Stefan Struve.

Almost the whole match was held by the opponents on their feet. By the second round, Struve was able to cut Volkov's cheek under his left eye and put a few pokes with his fingers in opponent’s eyes, which caused long pauses in the fight and the referee talked to the fighters, urging both to fight cleanly.

In the third round, Volkov was able to shake Struve with his punches to the head, Stefan sank to the floor, continuing to take blows to the head, and the referee decided to stop the fight.
