Nikolai Butsenko (56 kg) and Ramzan Muslimov (91 kg) won their debut fights at the 2017 World Championships in Hamburg and went to the next round of the competition. Nazar Kurotchin (49 kg) lost to Costa Rican Robinson Rodriguez Castillo with a score of 2:3 and dropped out of the further struggle.
Butsenko won 5:0 from Jean Vadamootoo of Mauritius, and Muslimov with the same score overcame the Hungarian Adam Khamori.
Butsenko next fight will be held on August 27 in the evening session against Gaurav Bidhuri from India.
Muslimov in the next fight, which also will be held on August 27 in the evening session, awaits a difficult test in the face of the bronze medalist of the 2016 Olympic Games, silver medalist of the World Cup 2015, Cuban Erislandy Savon.
