Nurmagomedov plans to fight Ferguson in November

The Russian MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov believes that he has already fully recovered from weight loss problems which happened recently and plans to fight American Tony Ferguson in November. "Today I'm in perfect shape and ready to fight in November," Nurmagomedov said on Tuesday at a meeting with participants of the North Caucasus Youth Forum "Mashuk-2017".

Nurmagomedov was preparing for a fight with Ferguson for the interim UFC lightweight title scheduled on March 5 at the UFC 209 tournament in Las Vegas. Interim title could give the winner in the future the opportunity to meet with the Irish Conor MacGregor in a battle for the organization's main belt in this weight category, but several hours before the official weigh-in Nurmagomedov was hospitalized because of the accelerated procedure of weight loss.
