Ukrainian light heavyweight Vyacheslav Shabranskyy (19-1, 16 KOs) captured the vacant WBC USNBC Light Heavyweight title with a seventh round stoppage of previously unbeaten Todd Unthank-May (10-1-1, 4 KOs).

After the 7th round, the Ukrainian opponent's team decided not to continue the fight. In a comment Shabranskyy said that May approached the fight in great form, and he is satisfied with having fulfilled his plan for the fight.

"Our training camp before this fight was based on working on old mistakes. I think that we with the whole team did this job very well, and I was able to fulfill the plan for the fight. Unthank-May is a good boxer, he went to the fight in great form and led him like a real warrior. Now I need to recover. At the moment, I rest with my family. And then there will be new prospects."
