Hunter: "This time, I trained Andre to KO Kovalev"

“I only trained Andre to knock out an opponent twice, when he fought Chad Dawson and now is a second time,” says Virgil Hunter, trainer of Andre Ward, when discussing what he expects to happen on Saturday at Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas.

“I will let Andre set up a tone, he knows what to do, we’ve been doing this for so long,” said Hunter, who also wanted to clarify all the rumors regarding Sergey Kovalev’s trainer John David Jackson. “We never reached out to John David Jackson. It will be proven during Thursday press conference. We will have all the evidence.”
