Unbeaten IBF #10 bantamweight Ryan Burnett (17-0, 9 KOs) seized the IBF bantamweight world title from reigning IBF champion Lee Haskins (34-4, 14 KOs) via twelve round split decision on Saturday night at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Burnett took the fight to Haskins, who was never really in the fight. Burnett scored knockdowns in round six and again in round eleven. Scores were 119-107, 119-107 for Burnett, while an astounding 118-108 card for Haskins was turned in by judge Clark Sammartino, who likely was confused about which fighter was which!
