Lucas Browne to release behind the scenes book

Lucas Browne's manager Matt Clark has confirmed a book has been completed that will give fans a behind the scenes look at the Aussie's world title win in Grozny and beyond. Shrouded in controversy due to a positive test for Browne, the victory against Ruslan Chagaev has eventually given the benefit of the doubt after a long battle with the World Boxing Association.

Since then, Browne has been the subject of another drug scandal, this time with the World Boxing Council, whilst Clark hopes the book will shed some light on the original smearing of the veteran's character and subsequent struggle to clear his name.

"Well done to the old man Graham Clark for getting his first book published," said Clark, whose father is the author. "It's the incredible story of Lucas Browne's Rocky-like win in Grozny, Chechnya.

"It goes behind the scenes on what went on pre and post fight and all the drama since. It will be available from March. Having read it, I can safely say that boxing nuts, sports fans and history buffs are going to love it.

Browne is still awaiting an official ruling from the WBC, although the WBA recently announced they were dropping Browne from their ratings.
