Mauricio Sulaiman, president of the WBC, has reiterated that he wants to see six judges for the upcoming fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, not three.
"Everybody likes the usual order of things. But the more quality judges working together, the better. Two bad cards and a boxer can win 2-1. Two bad cards with six judges - and the one who should have won is the one who should have won. There have been too many split decisions in recent months," - quotes Suleiman Boxing Scene.
Recall that the fight between Usik and Fury will be held on May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. At stake in this confrontation will be the title of absolute world champion in the heavyweight division.
