Mokaev: "Why do you need ratings if you don't take them into account?"

Undefeated UFC lightweight division prospect Muhammad Mokaev can't stop criticizing the promotion's decision to give a title fight with champion Alexandre Pantoja to Steve Erceg rather than him.

"What are the ratings for if you don't take them into account? I had to chase all these ranked guys all the time, even though I could have taken the fight with Matt Schnell too! But I faced Elliott and Perez instead. They present a bigger challenge than Dvorak and Matt Schnell, who Erceg defeated. I definitely deserve a title shot more than Erceg.

Pantoja said in an interview that the Erceg fight is tougher than a fight with Royval or Moreno. But he didn't even mention my name. Before I fought Perez, he said that I will be next if I can win," - quotes Mokaev Daily Mail.

Recall, the fight Erceg - Pantoja will take place on May 4 at UFC 301 in Rio de Janeiro.
