Saul Alvarez, the outright super middleweight champion of the world, has explained why he won't bow to public pressure and agree to a bout with undefeated David Benavides.
"The truth is that I've always fought the ones they said I supposedly didn't want to fight. I'm in a position that I deserve and I can do whatever I want to do. I'm not going to go along with anyone. People like that are never satisfied with anything. I will do what I want," - quotes Alvarez Los Angeles Times.
Recall, on May 4, Canelo will fight with his compatriot Jaime Munguia.
