Tsarukian named the best lightweight in UFC history

UFC lightweight No. 4 Arman Tsarukyan said he considers Khabib Nurmagomedov, who held the title from 2018 to 2020, to be the most outstanding representative of his division.

"One of the greatest is Khabib. I also liked Anthony Pettis, the way he fought. And that's basically it. We didn't have a person in the lightweight division who defended the title more than five times, if memory serves me correctly. That is, in lightweight it is very difficult to stay on the horse and defend the title more than five times. Islam Makhachev defended twice against Volkanovski. At the moment Khabib is the greatest fighter in our weight. But I think his record will be broken very soon," Tsarukyan said in an interview with Red Corner MMA.

Recall that Tsarukyan will fight against Justin Gaethje on April 13 at UFC 300.
