Dustin Porier, the former interim UFC lightweight champion, wrote a short post on his social media accounts hinting that he will be returning to the octagon soon.
"Looks like we're back in business," Puryear wrote.
Earlier in social networks actively rumored that it was Puryear who will be the next opponent of the current UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. Moreover, Makhachev himself wrote more than once that he was ready to fight Puryear this June.
Puryear had his last fight in March of this year, knocking out French prospect Benoit Saint-Denis in the second round at UFC 299.
