Former UFC lightweight champion Brandon Moreno has announced his decision to put his career on pause.
"I think I've reached the limit in my head. I'm tired. I'm not saying goodbye, no. But will have to wait for my return. I have to recover. I've done that before - and I became champion last time after the break. I remain a great fighter, I still have all the skills to be the best," - quotes the words of the Mexican MMA Junkie.
Recall that in July last year Moreno lost the title for the second time, losing by split decision of judges to Allesandre Pantoja. In February, the Mexican missed an opportunity to get a rematch with the champion, losing to Brandon Royval - again by split decision.
