Boxing legend and co-CEO of Golden Boy Promotions Bernard Hopkins has revealed how Jaime Munguia needs to perform in his fight with absolute world champion second middleweight Saul Alvarez to expect to win.
"Munguia thinks it's his time, but Alvarez isn't going to give him the ball for nothing. Jaime needs to take it away rather than waiting for a pass. It's going to be an interesting fight, but Munguia needs to remain untouched in the opening rounds. Jaime needs to be at his best at any point in the fight. We'll see if he's disciplined enough. He has to punch perfect that night.
Munguia needs to capitalize on every chance as well as his IQ. I think Canelo will try to pounce in the first rounds on his opponent before Jaime is aggressive enough," - quotes Hopkins Boxing News 24/7.
Recall, Alvarez and Munguia will share the ring on May 4 in Las Vegas.
