Rose Namajunas commented on her win over Amanda Ribas in the main event of UFC On ESPN 53.
"The last couple years of my life have been difficult. But I've never let the difficulty stop me. I feel good about myself at flyweight. I didn't like that I wasn't sharp enough, but there was enough strength. It's good that I'm developing in wrestling. It was weird to perform without an audience, I'm used to crazy press conferences and weigh-ins in front of crowds of people. Plus, the Apex arena has a smaller octagon, that's unusual too. Fighting for the title? If they give me a title shot, I'd love nothing more than that. I understand how things work - a fight for the belt has to be earned. It was weird that I'm not in the top 15 of my weight. I like the idea of coming up from the bottom in a new division."
