Zhumagulov responded to a question about whether he was more popular than Golovkin in his homeland

Former UFC fighter Zhalgas Zhumagulov responded to the question of whether he was more popular than boxer Gennadiy Golovkin back home in Kazakhstan.

"Well, was not more popular, but there was a time when everyone said that to watch fights wake up in the morning only because of Golovkin and because of me. Now the time has changed a little bit. Now everyone is talking about Shavkat Rakhmonov," said the fighter.

He also talked about his first visit to America.

"When I came to America for the first time, everything in my life changed. I realized a lot of things, a lot of things changed in general. If I had the opportunity, I would have flown there earlier. But it didn't work out that way. In any case, I am satisfied with what is happening to me," added the fighter.
