Covington reacted to the Masvidal - Diaz fight announcement

Former UFC interim welterweight belt holder Colby Covington commented on the announcement of a boxing match between two former fighters of the promotion, Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz.

The ten-round fight will take place on June 1 in Inglewood, U.S.A., in a bantamweight (under 79kg) bout.

"This is a bout between two old and complete losers from the UFC who should have retired from fighting a long time ago. They will be sloppy and old fighters coming into the ring. They can no longer perform at an elite level like me. They both got their 10 seconds of fame in the UFC and now they're living off those successful fights from 10 years ago," Sports Illustrated quoted Covington as saying.
