Mokaev reacted emotionally to the announcement of Pantoja - Erceg title fight

British UFC lightweight prospect Muhammad Mokaev expressed his outrage at the fact that the title fight with champion AlexandrePantoja went to Steve Erceg, who has only three fights in the world's leading MMA organization.

It was revealed the day before that the Brazilian and the Australian will meet on May 4 at the UFC 301 show in Rio de Janeiro.

"What did they just do in the UFC? I have the second longest active winning streak in flyweight history! I'm going to take that belt soon.

Give me Royval in Manchester, I'll smear him. You want to see the finish? Give me that fight, I'll finish him! I've never picked my opponents, never pulled out of a fight, even when I was sick. I've never failed a weigh-in. I will be champion! Thank you, UFC, you've motivated me a lot.

I have more early wins than Erceg fights in the UFC. Just the facts," Mokaev wrote on social media X.
