Covington: "Michael Page is trash."

Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington has spoken out about Michael Page 's debut in the world's top promotion.

Last weekend at UFC 299 in Miami, USA, Page took a lack luster submission win over Kevin Holland on points.

"That dude is trash. He's just a sack. Look at his previous fight. He was beaten by Mike Perry, a guy who fights in Indian casinos. We saw what happened to Perry in the UFC - he got his nose broken, beat up and knocked out three or four times in a row.

So it's just hype, they're just trying to promote Michael. They gave him a sack of Kevin Holland as his opponent, and that pathetic performance is all you could show? He didn't impress me. All I saw was another easy check if the UFC ever wants to give me one," MMA Junkie quoted Covington as saying.
