Canelo explained why he won't fight Benavides

Saul Alvarez, the outright super middleweight champion of the world, has revealed why he has no plans to fight undefeated David Benavides.

"My opponents were Erislandy Lara, Austin Trout, Floyd Mayweather, Miguel Cotto, Gennadiy Golovkin, Daniel Jacobs, Daniel Jacobs, Callum Smith, Billy Joe Saunders. At the end of the day, I've beaten pretty much all of them. If I beat Benavides, everyone says, "Why don't you face this guy over here?" Look at my history, I've done everything in boxing. I've done everything," - wrote Alvarez on his social network X.

Recall, his next bout Canelo will hold on May 4 in Las Vegas. He will face compatriot Jaime Munguia.
