Henry Cejudo, a former two-division UFC champion, called out the favorite in a potential fight between the promotion's current lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and Dustin Puryear.
"Yes, absolutely, the fans love Puryear, I do too. He has amazing power in his hands, he will certainly enter the UFC Hall of Fame in the future. But how can you write off Makhachev, who has only one loss in his career, who has an incredible team behind him. So I'm picking Islam. Sure, we can all make mistakes, but with the right plan for the fight, he will win. Makhachev won't fight Porier, he'll knock him down, wear him down, wrestle him down, if Dustin gets up, Islam will knock him down again and eventually make him give up," Sejudo said on his YouTube channel.
