Froch: 'We should never see Ngannou in a boxing ring again'

Former world champion Carl Froch has shared his thoughts on Francis Ngannou 's defeat to Anthony Joshua.

"A.J. needs to be given full credit. He went out there, did his thing, smeared Ngannou and probably ended his career. Ngannou made some money, he deserves credit. He got in the ring with two of the best in the business, but we should never see him in a heavyweight boxing ring again.

This fight shows that a man who is not a professional fighter should not step into the ring with a former heavyweight champion of the world. To me, it justifies what happened. It demonstrates that boxing as the art of fist fighting, the sweet science of it, is the way it is. Ngannou does not belong next to Anthony Joshua," said Froch.

Recall that on March 8, Joshua knocked out Ngannou in the second round in the main event of the evening of boxing in Riyadh.
