Askren prodded O'Malley about the outcome of the fight with Yang, the latter replied
Former Bellator and ONE promotion champion and former UFC fighter Ben Askren reacted to Petr Yan 's win against Song Yadong. Ben recalled Jan's fight with Sean O'Malley, writing that Petr was robbed in that fight.
"Just a reminder, Peter Yan beat Shawn. The judges robbed him," Askren wrote.
O'Malley, the reigning UFC lightweight champion, didn't stay silent and caustically responded to Askren.
"Just a reminder - Jake Paul knocked you out. Just kidding," O'Malley replied.

The confrontation between Yang and Song Yadong took place on March 10 at UFC 299, ending with Peter winning by judge's decision. In the main event of that tournament, Sean O'Malley faced Marlon Vera in a rematch and beat him by unanimous decision of the judges.
