IBF mandatory challenger for the IBF heavyweight belt Filip Hrgovic has reacted to former unified division champion Anthony Joshua 's victory over mixed martial arts star Francis Ngannou.
On March 8, in the main event of Boxing Night in Riyadh, Joshua knocked out Ngannou in the second round.
"I'm not impressed as I knew it was going to end like this. Francis has only had one fight and here he comes out against a two-time world champion. So it was supposed to go like this. I expected this outcome. I'm not impressed. Joshua did what he had to do.
I think Ngannou could have been finished like that by a lot of top heavyweights. It was a brilliant knockout, but Francis had little chance at this level," Boixng News 24/7 quoted the Croatian as saying.
