Polish mixed martial arts veteran Joanna Jędrzejczyk will become the second woman inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. UFC CEO Dana White announced that the former dominant former champion in the promotion's lightweight division will keep company with the top star in women's MMA history, Ronda Rousey, over the summer.
"Yoanna is one of the greatest athletes in the history of combat sports," UFC CEO Dana White said in a press release. - 'Yoanna is an amazing person, an incredible champion, ambassador and role model for women's MMA. She has fought the best of the best in her division and has never backed down to an opponent. Yoanna is one of the toughest athletes we have ever seen and I will be honored to induct her into the UFC Hall of Fame this summer during International Fight Week."
