Top UFC American heavyweight Curtis Blades has spoken out about his upcoming fight with Brazilian representative Jaiton Almeida.
"Almeida did what a lot of people expected him to do - beat Derrick Lewis. I had a feeling he wouldn't want to do a stand-up fight at all. Jailton didn't show anything much in the parterre. He's a traditional jiu-jitsu buff like Demian Maia, only bigger.
Compared to Jailton, I want to say that I win both in the stand-up and in the parterre. I have knockout power in my hands, and I think I outclass him in the standup," - quotes Blades Sherdog.
Recall that the fight Blades - Almeida will take place on the night of March 10 at UFC 299 in Miami, USA.
