"The fight with Gaethje was emotionally very tough. I had a very tough opponent and it wasn't easy to handle everything. As my father told me a long time ago, all diamonds are born under a lot of pressure. If the pressure is there and it doesn't break you, you will become a diamond," said Nurmagomedov at the Class A Events meeting in Canada.
Recall, Khabib's fight with Gaethje took place in October 2020, ending with Nurmagomedov winning by choke hold. After this fight, Khabib ended his fighting career with a record of 29-0.
