Roy Jones: "Crawford is capable of beating Alvarez."

Legendary boxer Roy Jones Jr. expressed his opinion that WBA, WBC and WBO welterweight titleholder Terence Crawford is capable of defeating absolute world champion in the second middleweight division Saul Alvarez.

"If anyone is capable of doing it, it's Terence. You can't say no to him. I'm the kind of guy who was willing to fight someone who said he was better than me.

John Ruiz was 15 pounds heavier than me, but I didn't care. I wanted to prove that I was the best regardless of weight and do something historic that no one had ever done before. Crawford probably feels the same way. He wants to make history and cement his legacy in boxing," Boxing Scene quoted Jones as saying.
