Golovkin made a statement after a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan

Gennady Golovkin, a former world middleweight champion who was recently appointed to the post of head of the NOC of Kazakhstan, made the statement after a meeting with the country's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

“I would like to thank the Head of State for his trust and support. Today at the meeting they discussed the main aspects of the activities of the NOC, in particular, for the new Olympic cycle. We understand all the tasks that the National Olympic Committee faces; there is already a vision, there are plans that we intend to implement.
