American junior middleweight boxer Sebastian Fundora spoke about the upcoming fight for the vacant WBC title against the Ukrainian Sergei Bogachuk, which is scheduled for March 30 in Las Vegas.
“We used to spar with Sergei very often. I worked with him a lot before the Owens fight and after. We stopped training together around 2019, or maybe 2020. Bogachuk and I have done thousands of rounds, but that’s in the past.
Now we represent different teams. I'm honored to have played so many rounds with him. He is a fighter who throws a lot of punches. I understand that Sergey can now be much better, but I still see the same aggressive style. My task is to show the difference in class between us,” Boxing Social quotes the American as saying.
