“When I moved to New Zealand with my parents, I lived in a small town called Rotorua. We were the only blacks in the area. People didn't understand and found fault with me. But I earned street respect through dancing. I just wanted people to like me. When I lived in Nigeria and Ghana, dancing was my way of expressing myself. But when I moved to this country, I realized that I danced better than everyone else at my school. “I continued to dance and tried to please people in order to fit into their lives,” the fighter said.
