Abdelaziz explained why Costa won't get the fight with Usman
Ali Abdel-Aziz, manager of the former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, explained why the former contender for the promotion's middleweight championship belt Paulo Costa will not get a fight with his ward.
“Paulo is a good fighter, but we don’t see him in the cage very often. You challenge Kamaru Usman, who comes out to fight on a 10-day notice, when you yourself appear in the Octagon once every two years. I don’t think he will have the honor of facing a fighter like Usman.
Kamaru wants to headline the UFC event in Texas. He's from there. When he returns, he will have a big fight, but his opponent will not be Costa,” Abdel-Aziz said in an interview with the YouTube channel The Schmo.
