Costa called on Chimaev to stop running and look for easy fights

Paulo Costa, a former contender for the UFC middleweight title, once again “walked” through Khamzat Chimaev, who is considered a prospect in this division and one of the main contenders for a title shot.

“Khamzat needs to stop running. For a long time, this guy just avoided this fight, he doesn’t have the courage. He wants easy fights, he doesn’t want to fight guys like me and Whittaker. He wants to fight guys who have no wrestling, no jiu-jitsu, no grappling,” Championship Rounds quotes the Brazilian fighter.

Earlier it became known that Chimaev was offered to fight at the UFC’s 300th anniversary tournament with the organization’s welterweight champion Leon Edwards, but Khamzat refused the fight because of Ramadan.
