Pereira: Adesanya and I could train together

UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira shared his thoughts about his confrontation with the former leader of the middle division Israel Adesanya.

“I feel that our confrontation has come to an end, although we cannot know for sure. If Adesanya and the UFC show interest in our fight, I will fight him, but at the moment I think it's over. I even think that Israel and I could train together. We're both experienced guys, we have similar styles of high-end strikers, we could complement each other in different areas of the fighting game.

If it comes to a fight, so be it, but I’m no longer chasing this match. So I would definitely train with him. Right now I don’t have the feeling that we will ever fight again,” Pereira said.

Let us remember that Pereira and Adesanya had two fights each in MMA and kickboxing, three of which ended in favor of the Brazilian.
