Mayweather called himself the face of boxing and made a bold statement about Ali

Floyd Mayweather, a former five-division world champion, made a bold statement when he said that the legendary Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard were no better than him.

“I’m really still the face of boxing. I'm grateful to guys like Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard, so many who paved the way for me. But there is only one Floyd Mayweather. These fighters are no better than me,” Mayweather said on the Pivot Podcast.

Mayweather ended his official boxing career in 2017, finishing McGregor. His record was 50-0. However, Floyd still holds exhibition fights.
