Recently, UFC CEO Dana White expressed respect for the organization's welterweight champion Leon Edwards for agreeing to fight at the promotion’s 300th anniversary tournament with three different opponents. A little later, the famous journalist and insider Arial Helwani named the fighters who refused to fight Leon. These are Islam Makhachev, Shavkat Rakhmonov and Khamzat Chimaev.
Today Chimaev responded to Helwani’s words, saying that he is ready to fight Edwards after Ramadan.
“Okay, give it to me after Ramadan, Saudi Arabia,” Chimaev wrote on his social networks.
Earlier, information appeared on the network that Chimaev does not have an American visa, so he can only fight at those UFC tournaments that take place outside the country.
