Dvalishvili had a tough sparring with Sterling before the fight with Cejudo

Ray Longo, one of the trainers Merab Dvalishvili, reported that literally on the eve of Merab’s fight with Henry Cejudo, the Georgian fighter had a tough sparring session with his friend and former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling.

“He literally fought Aljo for three rounds. It was fucking brutal - they were chopping with little gloves. Aljo sometimes complains about my boxing lessons, but what I saw was much tougher. They went three by five, so yes, for Merab this was the second fight of the evening,” the specialist said.

Let us remind you that the confrontation between Cejudo and Dvalishvili took place within the framework of UFC 298, ending with Merab’s victory by unanimous decision.
