Already a former UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski made a statement after the defeat against Ilia Topuria in the main event of UFC 298 in Anaheim, USA.
“Obviously he hits hard. We knew to be wary of this. He caught me, did a great job. I started to gain momentum and he caught me, I give him credit. He hits hard, we knew that very well. He shouldn't have hit it, but he did, so well done.
I was the champion of our division for a long time. He constantly talks about Spain, so maybe we’ll have a rematch in his country,” Volkanovski said after the fight.
