Dana White, UFC CEO, explained why the upcoming fight between Merab Dvalishvili and Henry Cejudo is extremely important for both fighters.
“This is a big fight for both guys. When Cejudo retired at his peak, it was funny. He ended his career in the prime of his life, and then returned. When you retire, you should stay there and never come back. As for Merab, he missed his chance by refusing the title. He didn't want to fight with his friend. Therefore, in my opinion, guys who have caused irrevocable harm to their careers will meet in the Octagon. So, the upcoming fight is extremely important for both of them,” the functionary said at a press conference.
