Ilia Topuria, a contender for the UFC featherweight championship belt, announced his desire to thank Spain, which he represents, by winning the championship belt.
“I couldn’t be more grateful for all the messages of support and encouragement I’ve received. 15 years ago, I came to this great country with my family with the vision and determination to change our destiny, and on Saturday I will return to you all the love that you gave me by winning the historic title. Thank you, Spain,” the fighter wrote on his social networks.
Let us remind you that on the morning of February 18 in Anaheim, as part of the UFC 298 main event, Topuria will fight with the organization’s featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski.
